What a second term Room 11 have had! Here some of the exciting things that we got up to this term...
A visit from ChoiceKids
We had a lovely visit from some of the wonderful children at ChoiceKids who also brought us some yummy treats which we thoroughly enjoyed!
Thank you ChoiceKids!
Samoan Independence Day
Some of Room 11 joining in during our special Samoan Independence Day celebration assembly. It was great to see so many of you in your beautiful lavalavas.
Matariki Celebrations
It was lovely to have Room 1 join us in Room 11 to create our own Matariki stars. We also set a Matariki goal for 2016.
We then went on a walk around the school to see all of the other fantastic Matariki art that the other classes had created.
A delicious sausage sizzle to end our walk!
We had a great day learning all about Matariki and getting to appreciate all of the hard work that everyone in the school put into their artwork. It was a lot of fun getting to work together with our friends not just from Room 11 but Room 1 too!
Fiafia Night
Wow! What a night!
Rooms 11 & 12 worked so hard to put on a fantastic performance at Fiafia night. Well done to each and every one of you, even those of you who couldn't make it on the night, you should be proud of yourselves! I know that your parents/carers were very proud of you and Miss Adams and I most certainly were too! You are all superstars! Oh, and you all looked fantastic in your different colours too!
Your proud teachers getting into the spirit of the night!
AGGs visit
We had a very special visit from the girls at Auckland Girls Grammar School who blew us away with their superb performance.
We then had the pleasure of having a few of the girls come and teach us a song that we then all sang and performed together as an entire school.
Thank you to the AGGs girls for a great day and experience.
